A Land Of Permanent Goodbyes- By Atia Abawi

Hey guys!! I finally got time to blog after school ended except I felt way too lazy to even blog and now, school is starting two days from now so I decided to give some time to blog now.I read five books this summer and all of them were great and were all released this year one of which was called "A Land of Permanent Goodbyes" by Atia Abawi. To begin, I will start by introducing Atia Abawi. Atia  Abawi is an author and journalist who is based off the middle east. She worked for NBC News and CNN as a foreign correspondent formerly, before she became an author. Also, Atia Abawi was born in West Germany to Afghan parents who had fled Afghanistan during a war and was raised in the U.S, where she had done all her education and graduated out of Virginia Tech. A Long Way Home: A Memoir by Saroo Brierley

Hey guys! So, I read this really good book this week and it a slightly different type of book for me and there was also a movie that I watched that was based on this book. The name of the book is "A Long Way Home". The movie was called "Lion" and I had no idea why until I got close to the end of the book and I will let you know why soon. "A Long Way Home" is a memoir written by Saroo Brierley. To begin, let me start off by telling you a bit about Saroo Brierley. Saroo Brierley is an Indian born- Australian Business man who today lives in Hobart in Tasmania, Australia. He was born in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, India in 1981. He came to Tasmania at age five. Hello! So, I had just finished a book last week and it was Percy Jackson and the Olympians- The Lightning Thief. It is written by Rick Riordan and it is my second time reading a book written by him and if you have not read any of his books you should really start reading into his world of mythology! A Long Walk To Water: A Book by Linda Sue Park

Hey there guys! This week I read this book called A Long Walk To Water by Linda Sue Park. So let me start of by telling you about the author. Linda Sue park is also the Newbery Medalist for the book A Single Shard. This is the first time I have read one of her books and according to my opinion about her she makes a great author. Linda Sue Park has written  picture book texts and poetry and genres of fiction, contemporary, and historical books as she is a children's book author. She has worked in a few occupations before she became a full time writer. She has worked as a journalist, copywriter, and as an  English teacher as a second language for students. I think these are great jobs. Linda Sue Park's husband is a journalist, so both are with a writing background and they have two kids, so that's pretty cool. Now, here is a summary of the book.
